There may be lemonade. Looking forward to seeing you! Please bring any warm clothing that is a solid maroon color to send to the nuns and monks in India! Contact by email at ellen@ellenziegler.com. Volunteer

The Northwest Dharma News needs generous, capable photographers to donate their time and work. The News is seeking file photos as well as photographers able to cover specific assignments and events. If you’re interested, please contact us at info@nwdharma.org.

The Tibetan Nuns Project is in full swing production of our 2009 Calendar. This year we would like to ask our sponsors and supporters to participate! Please send us one of your favorite quotes from your favorite Buddhist nun, Buddhist monk or dharma practictioner. Please send only 1 of your favorite quotes, 15 words or less. We will only be able to pick 12. The 12 quotes that we pick for our 2009 calendar will be sent a Tara prayer flag (in August 2008). Thank you for your continued support and your participation. Calendars will go on sale October 1st, 2008. If you’re interested, please contact us at tnpusa@tnp.org.

About the Community Bulletin Board

The Community Bulletin Board is a new feature added to serve the greater Buddhist community.

This page of the News is designed to publicize items of interest and benefit to the Northwest Dharma community. Using it, both individuals and regional groups will be able to share information about job and volunteer opportunities, publicize needs and opportunities, locate and share resources, and more.

There will be a nominal service charge of $5 per item for Community Bulletin Board notices. The items published here will not be commercial in nature, nor will they advertise specific events or ongoing programs. Events listings will continue to be placed in the Calendar of Events section of the website. You can easily access the Calendar by clicking on the link at the top of the page.

If you would like to submit an item for publication in the March-April issue of the News, please send your submission to news@nwdharma.org.
