Andrea Cohen & Susan Partnow
are Certified Compassionate Listening Facilitators who offer training in Compassionate Listening in the greater Seattle area.
Caterina De Re
is an interdisciplinary artist and scholar who integrates Buddhism in performance, composition and multi-media. She was introduced to Theravadan meditation in the 80s, and later became a follower of Tibetan Buddhism in the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages.
Kate Forster
started meditating at the tender age of nine. She lives in Seattle and divides her time as a dialect coach, an instructor, and a technical editor. She loves being involved in the Northwest Dharma News. Kate currently practices with the Seattle Insight Meditation Society.
Amy Groncznack
lives in Seattle, where she works as a technical editor. Her interest in Buddhism, writing, and photography led her to volunteer for the Northwest Dharma News in 2006. She is currently on the board of the Northwest Dharma Association.
Bill Hirsch
is a priest in the (Chinese Hua Yen/Pure Land) White Cloud Buddhist Society and one of the founding members of EcoSangha Seattle. A freelance writer who travels widely in Asia, he serves as secretary on the board of the Northwest Dharma Association.
Jill Irwin
is a freelancer writer and a member of Blue Heron Zen Community in Seattle. Her many outdoors adventures offer abundant opportunities for active, silent meditation.
Rich Koken Mackin
is a dedicated cyclist and member of Dharma Rain Zen Center in Portland.
Timothy O’Brien
is executive director of the Northwest Dharma Association.
Nick Vail
enjoys meandering around the beautiful Pacific northwestern forests and taking in the summer sun. Otherwise, he can be found at Nalanda West in Seattle.
Julie Welch
lives in Seattle and is current president of the Northwest Dharma Association.
