Buddha Jewel Monastery Installs Dharma Wheel & Peace Pole

Despite winter cold and spring rain and mud, a construction team at Seattle’s Buddha Jewel Monastery completed the task of installing a 30-foot Dharma Wheel and standing Peace Pole on the grounds of the Rainier Avenue temple.

The installation was dedicated at a “Buddha’s Birthday Party” held May 3. Here are photos of the work in progress and the celebration of its completion.
