Rural Practice Center Manager Wanted

Mountain Lamp Community, a rural mindfulness and meditation center in the traditions of Thich Nhat Hanh and Robert Aitken, is seeking a Guest Manager.

We offer the guest manager position as an opportunity to support the Dharma and deepen in practice, while living in a beautiful, natural setting. The guest manager is supported in practice with a daily meditation schedule and regular interviews with the teachers Jack Duffy, Roshi and Eileen Kiera, dharmacarya, as well as the opportunity to participate in all retreats.

Guest manager duties are to support the ongoing operation of Mountain Lamp through organizing days of mindfulness and retreats, various administrative and clerical functions, as well as some caretaking of the retreat center and the animals that share our practice home.

Mountain Lamp is located on 115 acres in northern Washington State about 17 miles east of Bellingham. We offer a small monthly stipend for 20 hours of work per week, plus cottage lodging and inclusion in all Community retreats and activities. Please visit our web-site at http://mountainlamp.org/ for further information and an application form. If you have any difficulty accessing the information, feel free to write us at ml-info@mountainlamp.org.p.org
