The Teacher Forum is an online resource for Buddhist teachers who reside and/or teach in the Northwest. It is a secure site, not accessible to the public, where teachers of Dharma can get to know one another, participate in discussions, share teaching resources, post queries, and engage in other activities related to their needs and responsibilities. Sponsored by NWDA, it is managed by and for Teacher Members.
To participate in the Teacher Forum you must be a Teacher Member of the Northwest Dharma Association. Criteria for access to the Teacher Forum are as follows:
1. Be one of the following: a) designated by an NWDA Member Group to have responsibilities as a teacher, b) ordained in a monastic tradition, or c) formally recognized or ordained in a lay tradition.
2. Reside in the Northwest (Alaska, Yukon, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana) or be actively engaged in guiding one or more NWDA Member Groups in the region, making at least annual visits.
The Teacher Forum uses a Ning social network platform. After you join or renew as an NWDA Teacher Member you will receive an invitation to enter the Teacher Forum site.
